We needed a leach field in the middle of the winter 2B Construction came out. They handled all the permits and worked through the snow and cold to get us taken care of so we could have a working septic system. Excellent job and timely repair. Great communication and cleanup afterwards. Highly recommend 2B Construction! Thank you Ron and Tyler!

I was in need of a plugged septic line that was on city right of way. The inspector gave me Ron's phone number. He met with me the next day to see what he was able to do. My situation unfortunately needed to be done asap and I didn't expect him to drop the project he was on. Fast forward to a month later, Ron worked on a private road drainage issue that affected me and others. The problem was quickly found and fixed plus he was able to bring our road up to county standards if not better. I am very impressed and satisfied with his company and would recommend them.

I am validating all of the 5 star reviews about 2 B Construction. I had a failing septic field. Any question I had prior to or during the replacement of the septic field was answered quickly. Very, very professional, courteous, competent and knowledgeable employees. These guys were working in very rainy weather. Some of the dirt turned to mud yet my yard was left very flat with no tire trenches. Very impressive! I would not hesitate for a second to use them again. Thank you Ron and crew.

We had an issue with our main septic line. That was causing the basement to backfill. 2B was incredibly prompt. Fit us in to relieve our family of the stress with incredible work and a fair price. Would recommend for all projects !

There is no way my words can do justice for the sheer amount of gratitude I have for the work these guys did. The job at my house wasn’t easy, I needed to install two septics along with a whole new drain field (and my land is basically sitting on sheer rock) and the path to make it all work was intertwined with water lines and power lines etc. They made it look like cutting butter and they ensured my property was put back better than they found it. I was referred to them initially by the company that cleans my existing septic tanks and I am so thankful for that. Ron, Tyler, Dave and every person that worked on my property treated it as their own, fully explaining everything along the way. Definitely the best guys to have on your job in town, truly great people and I am truly blessed to have found them.

Our drain field failed. We have very limited space on our lot by the lake. 2B worked with the county to make a plan that made replacement possible. They also redid our driveway. Everything came out better than expected. Thanks guys for an excellent job!

2B Construction installed a semi-complex septic system after the current system failed. The installation required a lot of excavation, rock, verti-block, new poly-lines, frost-free faucets, and the installation of several yards of screen drains. They were professional, friendly, prompt, and very skilled. I could not have asked for a better outcome. I can, and have, recommended them with the highest confidence.

I bought a new home with a cracked septic and roots growing into. They reviewed the video I had of my septic and went to town. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule which I was thankful for. Their work turned out wonderful.

Questions We Hear Most Often

These come up in almost every first conversation we have. If yours isn’t here, ask us directly

What areas do you serve?

We cover Kootenai County and the southern part of Bonner County, working out of Athol. That includes Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Spirit Lake, Bayview, and Sandpoint, along with the smaller communities between them. If you’re not sure your property is in our range, call us and we’ll tell you straight.

Do you handle emergency septic failures?

Yes. We prioritize failed-system calls because we know what’s happening on the other end of that phone. Response time depends on what’s already on the schedule, and we’ll be honest about it from the first call.

Do I need to upgrade my septic for an ADU or a bedroom addition?

Probably yes. Septic capacity in Idaho is calculated by bedroom count, and adding bedrooms or an ADU almost always triggers a system upgrade requirement. Call us before you finalize plans. We’ll save you the headache of a denied permit.

Are you licensed for lakefront and complex septic systems?

Yes. We hold complex installer licensing on top of the standard credentials, so we can handle engineered drainfields, nutrient-pathogen evaluations, and the additional regulatory steps required for installs over the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer or near Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Why concrete tanks instead of plastic?

Concrete tanks last 30+ years with proper maintenance. Plastic tanks cost less to install and the difference shows up about a decade in. If you’re going to do this once and not think about it again, concrete is the right call.

Do you do commercial work?

We bid on small commercial site prep, foundations, and utility work, anything from a contractor yard to a small retail pad. Send us your drawings and we’ll quote it.

The Ground Tells On Bad Work. Let’s Make Sure Yours Doesn’t.

Failed septic system, custom build on a steep lot, or a lakefront project that two other contractors already passed on. That’s the work we do. Send us the project details and we’ll get back to you within one business day.
